DIAMOND DUST™ is a clear, sparkling glitter, shiny material that adds a stylish decorative flair to most any paint or coating.
DIAMOND DUST™ is most commonly used to add a glitter effect to interior and exterior walls and ceilings. It can, however, also be used on most any surface being coated, including floors, roofs, exterior walls and so on.
DIAMOND DUST™ can be used with most any fluid applied coating product with whatever finish (flat, satin, semi-gloss) is available.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Refer to the Surface Preparation on the manufacturer’s data sheet for the specific product over which DIAMOND DUST™ will be used. Because loose DIAMOND DUST™ will settle after application, the area below where the DIAMOND DUST™ will be applied should be well masked and covered. This will make clean up much easier and aid in residual collection.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Apply the coating being used per the manufacturer's instructions. After the coating has been applied, but before it has dried, the DIAMOND DUST™ should be applied. The wetter the coating is, when the DIAMOND DUST™ is applied, the more DIAMOND DUST™ will adhere to the coating. Application is usually done with a broadcast spreader called a glitter gun or a puffer to get an even coating. DIAMOND DUST™ can also be applied manually by hand.

CLEAN UP:
Refer to the clean up section on the manufacturer’s data sheet for the specific paint or coating to which DIAMOND DUST™ will be added. Loose DIAMOND DUST™ can be removed, as normal dust can, with a vacuum or damp mop / cloth.
